It’s been many months now since Covid 19 made its grand appearance. It feels like it should all be over by now, back to our normal lives of being together working and attending school every day. In our minds it seems like this has gone on forever and we would do anything just to go back to the way it was, but it still continues. It is our new reality, like it or not.
We must be patient, just as God is with us. Yes, this is taking longer than any of us expected, and yes, we all want it to end, but we must treat this like any other of our daily problems. Do the best we can to pull through this situation and know that God is in our corner. He is with us, just as He always is with a plan. All we can do now is get through each day with hope and trust in our Savior that His will ultimately will be done. As it says in Romans 8:25:
“But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” ESV
Let us not be anxious and worry. Let the Lord do what he does best and remedy this in his own time. Throughout the Bible, time and time again, God proves that He cares for us and is always there by our side. God’s word tells us in Romans 12:12:
“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” ESV
If we read His words and follow his instructions laid out so perfectly in the Bible we will make it out of this situation and be even more thankful for each day that He has blessed us with.
