Christian leaders and pastors,
On Wednesday, September 28, at 7 a.m. local time students from around the globe and in every time zone will be gathering at their flagpoles to pray for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. This year a group of local churches and school leaders would like to build awareness for this movement. We want to see young people gathering together to pray together as they never have before on this 25th anniversary of See You at the Pole.
We believe with your help and support we can come together and make this one day a day that is remembered by young people as a pivotal moment in their faith journey. We are inviting you to join us at a PRE-RALLY SYATP event on September 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the gym of Salisbury Christian School. We want this to be a time for believers to connect with other students and adult leaders in their schools and to be encouraged and empowered as we worship together and consider how prayer might change our schools and communities. We need you to help get the word out to your students for this pre-rally
We will start the night with a concert by the local band “Breakfast,” (facebook.com/breakfastperiod). The last 30 minutes of the rally is for teens to gather with the organizing adult or student leader from their particular school. So if you are the person who has planned the SYATP meetings at your school we want you to be at this event so students have a face they might recognize, someone with whom they can connect, and know the details of the plan for their school’s SYATP event.
Thank you for your leadership and consideration as we strive to become more prayerful and united. Please join us in praying that this event will bring our students together and open a door for students to share the love of Christ.
